Rescue Dog Lilly Steps Out In Style!
Support for our charity comes in many different ways and this must be one of the more unusual ones.
Lilly, along with owner Paul and rescue dog Toby, with owner Stuart, are loyal supporters of our charity and Lilly is now stepping out in style and spreading the word about our charity with her smart new winter coat.
Well done Lilly you look lovely!
Fond Farewell to Chris and Andy
We are sorry to say goodbye to Chris and Andy who have been supporters of Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue and other dog charities for a number of years.
We have enjoyed delicious baking, which our regular supporters are already missing, good company and lovely dogs so will miss you all.
We send best wishes for your future in France and a huge thank you from all the volunteers and rescue dogs.
Donate a Treat For Our Rescue Dogs
Whilst our dogs receive good care in the boarding kennels they do miss out on the treats they would receive if they were in a loving family home. Sometimes kennel life can be stressful, particularly if the dog is with us for a while and sees all the other dogs going out to new homes.
If you live in the Filey area why not pop into Scruffs Pet Shop where you can buy a treat and put it in our collection box.
We all deserve a treat and so do our dogs!
Line Dancing at Thornton-Le Dale 26th June 2010
When Betty Bates contacted us to say she had arranged a Line Dance evening on behalf of the charity we knew we would have an enjoyable evening. Carole and Lindsay Williams of the Thornton Le Dale Line Dancing Group hold social Line Dance evenings to fundraise for chosen charities. These evenings are informal and very friendly and well worth coming to. If you enjoy Line Dancing, you are sure of a warm welcome. We had a great time and couldn't resist the toe tapping music and were amazed to receive a total of £160 at the end of the evening. We would like to thank Carole,Lindsay and Betty for arranging this event and all the line dancers who made this such a friendly and enjoyable night. If you are interested in line dancing, Carole and Lindsay hold classes on Wednesday evenings in the Thornton Le Dale Village Hall, beginners 6.30pm, advanced 7.30pm.
Scalby Fair 19th June 2010
